ANS is seeking compassionate, dependable caregiver to join our team! We currently have a full-time position available with clients in Winchester, ID between the hours of 10a-5:30pm. The clients are in need of someone to help them with daily tasks such as meal preparation, transportation, grocery shopping, companionship and basic house cleaning duties. This would be a Monday-Friday position, working in Winchester with 2 separate clients each day. We do offer flat rate mileage reimbursement if you're traveling 20 miles to the client's home.

QUALIFICATIONS:
(1) Nurse Aide positions do not require certification or registration to
perform their job functions.
(2) CPR and First Aid Certification when applicable
(3) At least 18 years of age.
(4) Ability to lift, push, pulls weight up to 50 lbs.
(5) Ability to communicate read and write in English.
(6) Evidence of a clear criminal history.
(7) Valid Driver's license, personal vehicle, and minimum liability insurance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides patient care at the direction of a service plan of care developed by the
Agency Program Supervisor or a Registered Nurse, or as determined by a
managed care program.
2. Provides patient care tasks in compliance with the certification or training that
supports ones knowledge.
3. Performs routine housekeeping duties as related to a safe and comfortable
environment.
4. Performs routine and therapeutic meal preparations.
5. May assist patient with oral medications ordinarily self-administered.
6. May assist the patient with personal ADL’s tasks.
7. Provides basic emotional and psychological support to the patient and other
family members.
8. Assists with transporting patients to medically related outings, grocery shopping,
etc.
9. May perform RN delegated functions within the scope of State Certification.
10. Documents care in records as indicated and submits records every week to agency
office.
11. Notifies the Program Supervisor or the Nurse Supervisor when there is a change
in the patient's condition.
12. Ability to respond to emergencies without direct supervision.
13. Attends and participates in routine care conferences when requested.
14. Attends in-service training as warranted.
15. May perform Homemaker/Companion job functions.
