Summary
We are seeking a motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated team at Alternative Treatment Program. In this role, you assist with admissions, dispensing medication, maintaining supplies/ inventory, assessing patients for withdrawal or intoxication.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment.
- Perform physical examinations and assess patient.
- Educate patients on health management and recovery strategies.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Marinating supplies/ inventory.
- Ensuring all areas for patient care are clean and organized.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of employment.
- Experience with medication administration and infection control practices.
- Ability asses and relay information to medical director.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Documentation skills.
You must be able to start your shift at 5:45a.m. and we are open Saturdays from 8:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. so some Saturdays are required. Being on time, willing to help other team members to ensure all tasks are completed and always using your time to benefit our patients and facility.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
