Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading field crews in miscellaneous and structural steel erection. This role requires leadership skills, people management, project management, proficiency in understanding blueprints, problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, a good work ethic, organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Requires working at heights, in confined spaces, and around heavy machinery.
- You will be subject to various noise, and hot work.
- Must adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines according to jobsite standards and OSHA.
- You will be traveling most of the time, with location varying by project.
- Work hours vary depending on schedule, but there are ample opportunities to work overtime if desired.
Duties
- Directing the erection of various steel, stainless steel, and aluminum structures.
- Management of jobsite projects.
- Filling out paperwork pertaining to work done on the jobsite, along with safety and inspection paperwork.
- Organize and track tools, equipment, and safety devices.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure the safety of all team members on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, alignment, and structural integrity.
- Load, unload, and move materials to appropriate locations on the job site.
Qualifications
- OSHA 30hr
- 24hr Fall Protection
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- 3G & 4G Certified (preferred)
- Good work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to learn in a high-stress environment.
- Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license/Real ID
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
