Position Overview
The Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator plays a vital role in shaping the learning experiences and outcomes within our organization. This position focuses on the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum frameworks and assessment tools, ensuring they align with organizational goals, best practices, and the diverse needs of practitioners and participants.
Responsibilities
Perform the following from a racial, gender, sexuality, and ability equity lens :
- Collaborate with practitioners to create, develop, review, and refine curriculum materials that align with organizational objectives and best practices.
- Ensure the curriculum is inclusive, culturally responsive, and adaptable to diverse learning environments.
- Develop and maintain assessment tools to evaluate program effectiveness and practitioner, trainer and staff performance.
- Analyze data from assessments to provide actionable insights and recommendations for program improvement.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for practitioners, trainers and staff to enhance their instructional strategies and understanding of assessment methods.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to practitioners, trainers and staff for curriculum implementation and evaluation.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical knowledge into accessible and engaging content.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of curriculum and assessments on program outcomes.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders and recommend areas for improvement.
- Act as a liaison between practitioners, trainers, staff, leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of strategic plans related to curriculum and assessment initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest educational trends, technologies, and instructional methodologies.
- Recommend innovative tools and techniques to enhance learning delivery.
- Provide training and guidance to practitioners, trainers, staff and facilitators on how to effectively implement the curriculum.
- Develop resources, such as guides and manuals, to support curriculum delivery.
- Manage curriculum development projects, including timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards or accreditation requirements.
