For over 40 years, Alternatives, Inc. has been dedicated to providing the best in support services to adults with Developmental / Intellectual Disabilities and Mental Illnesses. Services include Residential, Behavior Support, Support Coordination and Recreation.
DESCRIPTION : Community Support Services is a clinical case management program serving individuals diagnosed with mental illness, who live independently in the community. Clients live in either Agency owned housing or their own residences. Case Managers work with the individuals on their personal goals in order to meet their needs and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in human services related field requiredExperience working with individuals who have mental illnessExperience working with electronic health record system and Medicaid reimbursement programs a plusAbility to pass criminal / registry background checksSuccessful completion and passing drug screenClear tuberculosis screeningA valid driver's license, no more than 5 points or DUI in last 3 yearsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide in home and on-site services and support as per each individual's treatment plan; including provision of direct service to clients in areas such as motivational interviewing, money management skills, daily living skills, symptom improvement, psycho-education, housing support, job skills training, etc.Evaluate skills and needs of each individual and make recommendations to treatment teamLearn the 8 dimensions of wellness and multiple interventions in order to provide quality Medicaid servicesUtilize an electronic health record (EHR) system to write clear and concise progress notes to bill for Medicaid reimbursable servicesProvide crisis intervention services, as necessary, and crises prevention plans in an effort to improve crises responsePass all Agency and program specific trainingsTRAINING :
All employees are required to complete 10-15 trainings upon hire and on an ongoing basisTrainings are a combination of in person, which require staff to commute to the main office in Raritan NJ, and remote, using Go To MeetingAll trainings are paidSo why should you apply...?
