Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Subject Matter Expert (SME) [Functional Lead/Business Analyst] with a deep understanding of Financials and Procurement modules, particularly focused on process documentation, training delivery, and collaborating with business users to optimize best practices. The candidate also needs to have some experience with Oracle NetSuite. This hybrid role will require regular onsite presence in our NYC office alongside remote work, leveraging your expertise to ensure seamless operations and user adoption within our Oracle EBS system.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Expertise
Provide in-depth functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA) and Procurement (PO, iProcurement) modules to support business operations, system enhancements, and troubleshooting.
Analyze business requirements, design solutions, and configure the system to align with best practices.
Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement within the Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement modules.
Documentation & Training:
Develop comprehensive user documentation including process flows, functional specifications, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for end users on Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement functionalities, addressing different skill levels.
Facilitate knowledge transfer by coaching and mentoring other team members on best practices within the system. Business User Collaboration
Actively engage with business users to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into system configurations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration across different modules within Oracle EBS.
Promote adoption of best practices and standardized processes within the user community. System Support
Provide ongoing support to users including troubleshooting system issues, resolving queries, and addressing functional concerns.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
Stay updated on Oracle EBS releases, patches, and new features to proactively implement relevant updates.
