Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a holistically minded Direct Primary Care Clinic. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering patient-centered care, the best of traditional and holistic healthcare services that focus on preventive care, lifestyle management, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with patients to develop personalized care plans that emphasize holistic and integrative approaches to health.
- Provide primary healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform minor procedures, IV Therapy, and assist in managing medications.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with a care team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Foster a supportive and empathetic patient-provider relationship, promoting open communication and trust.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of advancements in holistic and integrative medicine.
- Contribute to the clinic's commitment to creating a healing and comfortable environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program and completion of a master’s of science in nursing (MSN)
- Current Wisconsin license as a Registered Nurse and recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the Wisconsin State Boards of Nursing
- Certification as a Specialized Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Board of the specialization
- Current DEA License
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or a related is preferred
- Knowledge and interest in holistic and integrative healthcare practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
