What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Laborer position at Althouse's Nursery?
Althouse’s Nursery is a full service Nursery and Landscape company since 1990 serving central PA. We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our growing team. This candidate must carry a valid PA driver’s license; have a passion for working outside, be self-driven and exhibit good customer service skills. Previous experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of existing landscapes and installation of new landscapes.
Hardscaping
Pruning, plant maintenance and planting various plants and trees.
Heavy equipment operations (Bobcat, dump truck, trailers, mowers)
Mulching
Customer relations
Deliveries
Willing to work in various weather conditions
Qualification:
Previous experience preferred
Valid PA Drivers license
Must be able to learn and operate gas machinery
Understanding of horticulture preferred
Punctual, self-motivated, and ability to complete tasks without immediate supervision
Ability to lift 50lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
