NetSuite Administrator Opportunity Overview
As an integral part of the Technology team, the NetSuite Administrator will provide technology leadership for the company’s expanding use of NetSuite. This person will be responsible for understanding key business processes and ensuring the information systems of the company efficiently and effectively align and support the business.
AltimateMedical, one of the Granite Companies, is working in a cloud-based digital ecosystem that is highly collaborative and will continue to evolve and grow. The NetSuite Administrator will participate in bi-monthly meetings with NetSuite leaders across the Granite Companies and actively engage in bi-monthly meetings with the Granite NetSuite Administrators user group.

The Position
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the NetSuite Administrator will administer the configuration parameters of NetSuite, customize reports and key performance indicators, arrange user training, attend SuiteWorld for best practices, monitor security, and report on system utilization and impact.
The NetSuite Administrator will collaborate across business functions to understand business system requirements; identify system optimizations, enhancements, or defects; and leverage the Global Help Desk ticket system to log and track system enhancements and requests.
The NetSuite Administrator will enable teams across the company’s business functions with business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and visualization tools using NetSuite’s SuiteAnalytics capabilities and workbooks and Domo’s business intelligence platforms.
The Administrator will collaborate with peer NetSuite Administrators across the Granite Companies for planning, testing, and implementation of new feature releases. NetSuite has new feature releases scheduled twice a year and the Granite Companies will coordinate additional feature releases on a periodic basis. The Administrator will evaluate new feature requests, develop test plans, lead and coordinate user acceptance testing, and collaborate on the implementation of new features.
Other key responsibilities are summarized below.
NetSuite Administration (~75%)
- Partner with others on NetSuite-related matters such as the design, architecture, configuration, functionality, maintenance, troubleshooting, controls, and performance of the application and technology.
- Drive NetSuite adoption efforts and enhance the user experience through improvements to the user interface, user training, and shared best practices.
- Keep up to date on NetSuite native functionality and changes to NetSuite modules as well as third party applications through the NetSuite partner ecosystem.
- Provide regular updates on NetSuite releases to end users, including plans, usage, and support of system.
- Lead the testing for changes and implementations, including software validation plans and reports.
- Assist with the development of policies and procedures related to NetSuite systems controls and operations, data security and compliance, electronic storage and organization strategy, and maintenance.
- Create training documentation and process diagrams for existing and new business processes.
- Plan for key integration among systems, including the NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing module, document management, expense management, engineering design, shipping, and tax.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop product and platform roadmaps, ensuring strategic alignment of current and future systems.
Business Systems Analysis (~25%)
- Gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
- Gather information from leaders about the needs and growth of the company.
- Evaluate, test, and recommend opportunities for enhancing software, hardware, or IT processes.
- Extract and analyze data to support business decisions; produce useful reports.
- Assist with finding technological solutions to business requirements or challenges.
- Demonstrate business understanding and an analytical mindset.
- Demonstrate the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Utilize project management skills to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3-5 years’ total experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ experience in ERP applications such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or Workday (NetSuite preferred).
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred).
- Technical skills and experience in business intelligence tools.
- Experience in Microsoft Windows Server environment.
- Knowledge of hardware, software systems, and components used.
- Knowledge of security standards and experience in administering IT security controls.
Location
The NetSuite Administrator is a hybrid position and will include approximately one day a week at the home office in Morton, Minnesota.
