Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Java professional to join our team at Altimetrik. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise-grade Java applications, design patterns, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop web services, particularly microservices architectures, and REST APIs.
- Design and implement complex database solutions using Oracle Database.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure, as well as experience with deploying cloud-native applications.
- Apply modern software design principles to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Required Skills
- At least 8 years of hands-on Java development experience, specifically in J2EE (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition).
- Proficient in developing web services, particularly microservices architectures, and REST APIs.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data-heavy applications and backend services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure, as well as experience with deploying cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of modern tools and technologies, including NiFi, NATS, Kafka, Zookeeper, Splunk, Redis, Cassandra, and Oracle.
- Skilled in performance code reviews and implementing best practices for efficient, scalable code.
