Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Altitude Chicago North. This is primarily a weekend job (Friday-Sunday), but weekday availability is a plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our concession stand, ensuring customers receive excellent service in a fun, family-friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Food & Beverage Preparation : Preparing cooked food (e.g. pizza, tenders, fries etc) and serving snacks (e.g., chips, popcorn, pretzels) and beverages (e.g., sodas, slushies, coffee).
- Customer Service : Greet guests, take orders, and ensure a welcoming experience for children and families.
- POS Operation : Accurately process orders and payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Cleaning & Sanitation : Ensure the concession stand is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Staff Collaboration : Work with teammates to manage busy periods and support events, such as birthday parties and park activities.
- Training & Oversight : Support and train other staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe, efficient environment.
- Kitchen Operations : Oversee daily food preparation and ensure food quality standards. Manage food storage, inventory, and ordering to minimize waste and control costs. Create and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
