What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager for Outpatient Physical Therapy clinics position at Altitude Physical Therapy?

Altitude Physical Therapy is a locally owned physical therapy provider with three locations in Canyon County. We are in search of an office manager who has the talent and skill to help us continue growing and helping more people in our community. *What You’ll Do*
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with all departments of the company to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale, and patient service.
- Be an active member and contributor of our leadership team participating in weekly accountability and problem solving meetings, as well as quarterly and annual planning/strategy meetings
- Work closely with owner, clinic directors, and marketing specialist regarding topics that involve overlapping interests or concerns
- Hire, train, develop and evaluate our Patient Care Coordinator team in an effective and efficient manner, regularly communicating with employees to discuss their performance providing both recognition and constructive feedback as necessary to assist in their success.
- Working with billing team, providers, and office staff to ensure quick and accurate claim submission
- Assist in staff scheduling, vacation, and sick coverage
- Data entry in various software programs
- Resolving patient issues and concerns
- Responding to and assisting billing team members with concerns
- Supervise the credentialing process for all providers
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures, helping us make sure we're compliant with all ethical and legal requirements.
- Fill in for front office staff when required, performing all front office staff duties, including:
- Warmly greeting patients and maintaining an orderly and organized front office workspace.
- Calling on referrals and scheduling patient appointments for new and existing patients
- Answering phones and collecting patient payments
- Verifying insurance coverage and tracking authorizations
- Educating patients on insurance benefits and financial commitments
- Scanning and filing medical records
*What you’ll need to succeed with us*
- You possess a high school diploma, or equivalent, a minimum of two years medical administrative experience with an understanding of major medical coverage plans, and previous experience with electronic medical record keeping software and medical billing systems. Experience with credentialing processes and electronic medical records and billing platforms is helpful
- You’re very comfortable with computers and other standard office equipment including phones, printers, scanners and photocopiers.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments with limited direction and supervision.
- Problem-solving excites you! This position requires you to exercise a high degree of initiative, independent judgement, critical thinking, appropriate prioritization and time management skills.

- You have reliable transportation and are able and willing to travel between our three clinics on short notice. Flexibility and a team player attitude are an absolute must!
*What we offer you:*
35 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
