Mechanical Assembler

Job Description:

Altitude Rides is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in the assembly and maintenance of high-performance amusement ride systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and build of thrilling experiences that inspire adventure and excitement in people worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and systems of amusement rides according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
• Inspect and test components for proper fit, alignment, and function.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to assemble, disassemble, and repair parts and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical systems, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and parts are properly stored and labeled.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality control teams, and other departments to ensure assembly meets all specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the installation and setup of amusement rides at various locations.
• Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment and machinery.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent on each task.

Qualifications:

• Must have a positive, ‘get it done’ attitude.
• Must be okay with receiving direction and ‘on the job’ training.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in mechanical systems is a plus.
• 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field, preferably within the amusement ride, manufacturing, or mechanical systems industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, assembly techniques, and hand/power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in mechanical assembly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
• Self-driven with a positive attitude, taking initiative and contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift

• 5x8
• 8 hour shift
