Job Summary
The Executive Director serves as the CEO of our community, overseeing the planning, direction, and implementation of all programs and policies. They ensure the efficient and effective administration and execution of our business plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing and Public Relations: Maintain occupancy goals through evaluation and admission processes.
- Resident Satisfaction: Ensure achievement of realistic care plan goals and coordinate resident service activities.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and schedule community staff.
- Compliance: Ensure the community operates in substantial compliance at all times.
Leadership and Oversight
- General Well-being: Responsible for the general well-being and health of residents.
- Care Coordination: Ensure coordination of care and services to residents, including nursing and care staff.
- Core Values: Model the organization's core values to reflect a positive image for the communities we serve.
- Staffing: Ensure the community is appropriately staffed with the right personnel in place.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Paperwork: Responsible for all paperwork required by regulatory bodies.
- Marketing: Participate in direct marketing efforts for residents, community services, and staff recruitment.
- Licensing Inspections: Act as the responsible party before, during, and after licensing inspections.
Requirements
- State Department of Social Services Standards: Meets current requirements for Licensed Assisted Living Facilities.
- Education: Two years' post-secondary education required; college degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory role in senior housing.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, warm and outgoing personality, integrity, maturity, and leadership skills.
