A leading global logistics and supply chain solutions provider is seeking an experienced Global Sales Manager to drive business growth in air and ocean freight, warehousing, and 3PL services. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven leader who excels at building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and executing strategic sales initiatives across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, secure, and manage new global accounts across air, ocean, warehousing, and 3PL services.
- Develop and maintain strong C-level relationships within key and target accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by expanding global sales opportunities.
- Manage a portfolio of 20-25 global accounts, ensuring long-term growth and customer satisfaction.
- Lead strategic sales initiatives, identifying key decision-makers and presenting tailored logistics solutions.
- Conduct 10-15 direct customer calls per week to strengthen partnerships and generate new business.
- Collaborate with regional and local account executives to mentor and support their sales efforts.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends and industry developments to position services effectively.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics sales, and business development.
- Strong background in sales strategy, contract negotiations, and customer relationship management.
- Experience leading and mentoring sales teams to drive performance.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, data analytics, and strategic planning.
- Ability to travel as required to support sales initiatives and client meetings.
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
