Job Title: Account Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid/Onsite)
A growing global logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking an Account Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end shipments for a key client account. This role requires a detail-oriented logistics professional with hands-on experience handling shipments from A to Z operationally, ensuring smooth and efficient freight movements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for a major client, managing daily communication and service needs.
- Oversee end-to-end shipment coordination across air, ocean, and domestic freight.
- Track and manage shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and issue resolution.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customs, and carriers, to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor KPIs and service performance, providing proactive solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Handle documentation, billing, and compliance requirements for international and domestic shipments.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of air and ocean freight operations, customs clearance, and domestic transportation.
- Experience managing shipments from A to Z, including tracking, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
