A leading global logistics provider is seeking a Director of Global Sales to drive business growth and expand our market presence. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales leader to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on air, ocean, and customs brokerage services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global sales strategy to drive revenue growth across air, ocean, and customs brokerage services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mid-size to enterprise-level clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, pricing, and compliance, to create tailored logistics solutions for clients.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance on best practices and revenue-generating strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements while ensuring competitive and profitable solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to adjust strategies as needed.
- Track and analyze sales performance, reporting results and forecasts to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in global freight forwarding sales, with a strong track record of success.
- Expertise in air freight, ocean freight, and customs brokerage services.
- Established network of industry contacts and ability to develop new client relationships.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Experience managing and mentoring sales teams is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
