Job Description:
The Process Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and economical operation of toll manufacturing processes at ALTIVIA's Oxide Chemicals site. This involves adhering to standard operating procedures, troubleshooting process problems, and completing necessary paperwork.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and adherence to standard operating procedures
- Troubleshooting process problems and minor repairs
- Completing safety, environmental, production, maintenance, and shipping paperwork
- Maintaining safety training and attending meetings
- Loading, unloading, and transferring raw materials and final products safely
- Reading and understanding batch and blend recipes, verifying raw material availability
- Monitoring and data entry through HMI and DCS systems
- Pulling samples, performing QC tests, and communicating lab results
- Communicating effectively with operators and supervisors
- Performing housekeeping duties
