Job Location – Montgomeryville (PA) with limited travel and support to Indianapolis (IN) and Juarez Mexico.
Job Description:
We are currently a small site with a bright future. We have 40 employees with expected strong growth in the future. Given our size we need leaders to have multiple responsibilities. The ideal candidate would have knowledge in both maintenance and safety, however those with strong skills in either maintenance or safety are encouraged to apply.
Maintenance Leader - Responsible for leading initiatives to identify, analyze, and eliminate machine / maintenance losses within our manufacturing process. Playing a key role in driving operational excellence, reducing costs, and improving overall manufacturing performance.
Safety Leader - Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety programs to ensure the well-being of employees, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the prevention of accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintenance Leader:
- Identify, prioritize, and address opportunities to maximize equipment utilization. Identifying and addressing machine stops, breakdowns and preventive maintenance needs.
- Diagnose issues with complex equipment and complete repairs effectively. This may involve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ideally experience in robotics maintenance (Fanuc)
- Lead projects aimed at improving plant efficiency and safety.
- Implement comprehensive PM program.
- Maintain equipment, premises and building systems.
- Contribute to the development and fine-tuning of new equipment.
- Be available to support emergency repairs or breakdowns during off-hours if required.
- Record keeping and inventory management (spare parts and maintenance supplies).
- Experience in start and ramping up new industrial systems and new factories is a plus
Safety Leader
- Provide training and support to employees and management to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, inspections, training, and compliance activities.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization by fostering open communication, encouraging employee participation, and recognizing achievements in safety performance.
- Act as a resource for employees and management on safety-related issues, providing guidance, support, and assistance as needed.
- Record keeping and documentation of site safety data.
Qualifications:
- Ability to write and implement policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Analytical skills to identify opportunities for maximizing equipment utilization.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with PLC’s, pneumatics and hydraulics, diagnostic tools, and techniques, robotics (FANUC)
- Knowledge of comprehensive preventive maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures along with the ability to perform general maintenance tasks to upkeep premises and building systems.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate work and training with engineers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to interpret safety regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and NFPA
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
