Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced line cook to join our team at Penn National Golf Course. Our restaurant, Founder's Grille, is open daily from March through November, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As a member of our culinary staff, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Station Setup: Ensure that all necessary supplies and food items are stocked and set up for assigned stations.
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces according to established recipes and standards.
- Cooking Methods: Cook food items using various techniques, including grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods as required.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by properly handling food, storing it correctly, and ensuring cleanliness of cooking surfaces during and after shifts.
- Inventory Management: Conduct inventory checks and complete food storage logs to ensure accurate tracking of stock levels.
- Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate basic written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, accuracy, speed, and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
