Senior Sales Analyst

The Senior Sales Analyst is responsible for developing a replenishment strategy to maximize sales and sell-through %, analyzing data to identify opportunities for growth, reporting sales and trends to account management, and supporting account management in the decision-making process.

Note: Salary based on knowledge, skills, ability and job experience.  

Job responsibilities & duties include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Lead a team of analysts in their daily roles.
• Access Customer’s sales database regularly to download data for analysis.
• Review sales, weather trends, product availability, and other variables to develop a replenishment strategy.
• Create and implement tools to improve replenishment and reporting
• Assist in developing production plans
• Provide account management with data analysis and reporting to support the following activities:
  1. Formulate entry and exit strategies of key items.
  2. Generate sales history and production data to assist with forecasting and revenue planning.
  3. Participate in meetings and/or support account management by providing information and reports (internal and customer meetings).
  4. Advise management on all relevant customer information including sales strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, ST%, and workflow
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements for position:

• Possess Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point skills.
• Key Excel skills preferred include:
  1. Vlookup(), Sumifs(), mathematical, and text functions
  2. Pivot tables, report building, filtering, sorting, data organization
• Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Quick learner.
• College degree preferred, but not necessary.
• Horticulture/plant knowledge a plus, but not necessary
