Job Description
Provides leadership and support to centers as an Interim Director of Nursing Services, ensuring completion of work within scheduled time frames.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead centers during hiring and training processes for Directors of Nursing Services.
- Provide mentoring to Directors of Nursing Services.
- Offer guidance and support to centers requiring additional assistance or extended periods.
- Deliver consultation, interpretation, and problem-solving services to center staff and administrators.
- Develop and provide training during assignments.
- Assist nursing staff in coordinating services with other disciplines to meet resident needs.
Training and Development:
Participate in the development and implementation of QAPI processes in partnership with the Quality consultant.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a BSN preferred.
- Two years' experience as a director of nursing in long-term care.
- Prior experience with Good Samaritan is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Nursing, supervision, consultation, and training skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to problem solve.
