Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to individuals across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support patients in achieving their mental health goals.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychological testing and assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of patients, including those with PTSD and autism.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies for patients in acute distress or emergency situations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital or school settings to develop effective treatment plans.
- Engage in research activities to contribute to the field of psychology and improve therapeutic practices.
- Offer specialized care for geriatric patients, addressing their unique psychological needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
Experience
- A Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution is required.
- Licensure as a psychologist in the relevant state is mandatory.
- Experience in psychological testing, patient assessment, and crisis intervention is preferred.
- Familiarity with working in school environments or with geriatric populations is a plus.
- Proven ability to conduct individual and group counseling effectively.
- Experience in research related to psychology is beneficial.
