Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Cath Lab Tech or RT - Would take either one of these Cardiovascular Technologist Position Summary The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for performing a wide range of technical skills, which are utilized during a variety of cardiovascular procedures, in accordance with organizational policies and established professional standards of care. This position is accountable for the quality of the examinations completed utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment and critical thinking skills necessary to obtain accurate diagnostic images. Minimum Qualifications ◾ Education High school degree or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited two-year program for Cardiovascular Technicians or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists. ◾ Credentials Required : Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) under Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) GPH Required / Preferred : BLS certification required. GPH Required / Preferred : ACLS certification required Interventional Radiologic Technologist Position Summary The Interventional Radiologic Technologist is responsible for completing specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with organizational policies and established professional standards of care. This position is accountable for the quality of the examinations completed utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment and critical thinking skills necessary to obtain accurate diagnostic images. Minimum Qualifications ◾ Education High school degree or equivalent required. Graduation from an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology. ◾ Credentials State Required : Current Medical Radiographer license or Temporary Medical Radiographer as defined by 16-006.04 Nebraska Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure – 18 months after date of issuance and not renewable. Registration or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required or RCIS required. GPH Required / Preferred : BLS certification required.
