Food expeditors communicate orders and information between the front of house and back of house, making sure that food is cooked in the right order, quickly, and presented to the customer as beautifully as possible. This position also ensures the staging area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary area.
The food expeditor acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the waitstaff, which ensures a steady workflow throughout the various departments of a restaurant. An expeditor is also responsible for facilitating kitchen orders, maintaining quality control, and monitoring food safety.
Position pays $14 an hour plus gratuities.
