Alto Pharmacy is seeking a visionary leader to drive our enterprise growth strategy. As our Head Of / Vice President, Enterprise (Business Development), you'll be at the forefront of expanding our reach and impact. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to our CFO, with the opportunity to shape the future of Alto.



Job Description
 

Accelerate Your Career as You

  • Lead the Charge: Develop and execute a bold business development strategy to fuel enterprise-level growth.

  • Forge Powerful Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key players in the healthcare ecosystem – pharmaceutical manufacturers, hub services companies, PBMs, and major healthcare providers.

  • Build a Winning Team: Lead and mentor a high-performing multi-function team.

  • Drive Innovation: Spearhead the growth of new business lines through strategic partnerships and cutting-edge solutions.

  • Collaborate Across Alto: Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, product, engineering, and more) to deliver seamless integrations and customized solutions.

  • Own the Sales Cycle: Manage the entire sales process for major enterprise partnerships, from initial contact to successful implementation.

  • Master the Numbers: Develop pricing strategies, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions.

  • Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent Alto at industry events and conferences.

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related business or healthcare fields

  • 12 years of proven success as an enterprise sales and business development professional at and/or with pharma manufacturers and/or hub services companies.

  • 8 years of progressive leadership experience, building and scaling high-performing sales teams.

  • Deep understanding of and strong network in the pharmacy and pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven ability to build new business lines in a dynamic environment.

  • Data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • MBA, PharmD, or advanced degree

  • Experience working with product, software development, and science teams.

  • Experience in digital health technology.

  • M&A and strategic partnership experience.

  • SaaS product sales experience.

  • Proficiency with CRM software.

Additional Physical Job Requirements

  • Reading English, comprehending, and following simple oral and written instructions. 

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.  Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. 

  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound. 

  • Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer or phone that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

  • Environmental Conditions: occasional exposure to low temperatures or high temperatures, outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind, and noisy environments.

  • Physical Activities: 

    • Occasionally ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like.

    • Moving about to accomplish tasks and/or moving from one worksite to another. 

    • Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions. 

    • Operating motor vehicles.

    • Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/driving/flying

Commission Eligible: Yes

Equity Eligible: Yes

Travel: Yes - Up to 40% of the time

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, New York, Kansas, Texas, Maryland, Washington (WA), Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin.

Employment Requirement: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.  At this time, Alto is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
