We are seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead our Prescription Processing and Partner Implementations teams (Care Operations). In this critical role, you will oversee the engineering efforts to develop and implement enterprise solutions for our care and partner integrations. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in delivering seamless, scalable, and secure solutions that enhance both partner and patient experiences. This position requires a strategic leader with a strong technical background, capable of driving initiatives that integrate care solutions and partner systems while working cross-functionally to ensure successful deliverables. The rigor of execution to implement partner integrations quickly will be a key determinant of success for this role.

Job Description

• Lead and manage the engineering team focused on the development and implementation of enterprise care and partner integration solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Customer Success) to align and ensure success in implementing new partner integrations and care solutions.

• Work closely with senior leadership to define and execute the strategic roadmap for care and partner implementation initiatives.

• Oversee the technical delivery of implementations, ensuring that projects adhere to timelines, meet technical requirements, and support operational goals.

• Conduct code reviews and technical problem-solving sessions, ensuring adherence to best practices across the team.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Track team performance, provide regular feedback, and support the growth and development of engineers.

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Alto's technology standards and architecture.

• Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful partner launches and high-quality outcomes.

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• 15 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on building scalable loosely coupled Services with low latency data stores.

• Proven track record of at least 10 years in leadership roles, managing and scaling engineering teams.

• Extensive experience with full stack development  using modern programming languages preferably React, React Native, Ruby, Go, Python, or similar technologies.

• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.), and a strong grasp of infrastructure and scalability considerations.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment in a high-growth technology or technology enabled company.

• Experience productionizing AI/ML models and building proof of concepts leveraging developing technologies.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and lead change in a dynamic environment.

• Passion for healthcare technology and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or working with partner-facing technologies is a plus.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $176,000 - $220,000

Commission Eligible: No

Equity Eligible: Yes

Travel: Yes - Required up to 15% of the time. Leadership off-sites and Team Building Off-sites.

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Washington, California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, and New York.
