Job Summary
 

As a Supply Chain FP&A Senior Manager at Alto, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing financial strategies that drive operational efficiency and enhance Alto's competitive position in the rapidly evolving pharmacy industry. You will leverage advanced financial analysis, innovative solutions, and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic growth initiatives, streamline supply chain processes, and ensure data-driven decision-making. With the ability to influence senior leadership and shape business outcomes, you will help propel Alto toward its mission of improving health outcomes while navigating the complexities of the industry.

In this role, you will be the primary finance support for Pharmacy Fulfillment Operations, leading the development and execution of financial strategies, partnering with key stakeholders across the business to deliver actionable insights that inform expansion strategies and operational excellence, and providing business case development and support for cost efficiency and growth initiatives. As a highly collaborative business partner, you will enhance forecasting and margin analysis, optimizing business performance, and ensuring that Alto continues to lead with innovation and financial discipline. You will be a leader among the Supply Chain and FP&A functions, fostering synergies that drive operational efficiency and enable swift adaptation to industry changes.   • Financial Strategy Leadership: Drive the development and execution of financial strategies, ensuring alignment with Alto’s long-term growth plans and business objectives, particularly in the Supply Chain and commercial sectors.

  • Senior Leadership Collaboration: Engage directly with executive leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and contribute to high-level decision-making, influencing critical business choices that impact the company's direction.

  • Supply Chain Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process for the Supply Chain function, ensuring the creation of accurate forecasts and financial models. Enhance margin analysis and financial reporting to enable effective decision-making.

  • Advanced Financial Analysis: Conduct complex financial analyses to assess operational performance, uncover trends, and recommend actionable insights that drive improvements across the Supply Chain and business units.

  • Performance Reporting: Deliver comprehensive financial reports and performance analysis to senior management, providing insights into key performance metrics, variances, and supply chain performance.

  • Cross-Functional Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to provide financial expertise and support data-driven decisions that align with business priorities.

  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks while capitalizing on growth opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Process Optimization & Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve the FP&A function, optimizing processes for greater efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in financial planning and analysis.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence, and ensuring the team is equipped to meet the challenges of a high-growth business.

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related field

  • 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably with a focus on supply chain or operational finance.

  • Proven experience in leading financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes at a senior level

  • Strong leadership and ability to influence with a track record of successful business partnership, end to end ownership of a business, and working effectively with peers, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating adaptability and strong problem-solving skills and the flexibility to manage conflicting priorities and fast turnarounds  

  • Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to convert complex financial data into clear, actionable insights

  • Strategic thinker with experience influencing executive decision-making and driving financial outcomes

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

  • Expertise in complex Excel modeling, proficiency with Looker or PowerBI, SQL, and financial tools such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage Intacct

  • Ability to work Pacific Time Zone working hours.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with an in-depth understanding of the unique financial dynamics within supply chains

  • Expertise in advanced financial modeling techniques and proficiency with a wide range of financial software and tools

  • Reading English, comprehending, and following simple oral and written instructions. 

  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.  Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. 

  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound. 

  • Frequent repeating motions required to operate a computer or phone that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

  • Environmental Conditions: occasional exposure to low temperatures or high temperatures, outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind, and noisy environments.

  • Physical Activities: 

    • Occasionally ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like.

    • Moving about to accomplish tasks and/or moving from one worksite to another. 

    • Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions. 

    • Operating motor vehicles.

    • Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/driving/flying

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $144,000 - $180,000

Commission Eligible: No

Equity Eligible: Yes

Travel: Yes - Required up to 20% of the time  

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington (WA), and Wisconsin.

Employment Authorization Requirement: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. At this time, Alto is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
