Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Commercial General Liability, Workers' Compensation, 1st Party Claims, 3rd Party Claims, Litigation, Cargo, and Pollution claims
- Support Risk Management initiatives to minimize company liability
- Assist Owner-Operators with insurance coverages
- Collaborate with teams to participate in Root Cause Analysis and recommend actionable improvements
- Attend and contribute to quarterly safety meetings on-site
- Generate and analyze monthly reports related to claims and risks
- Interpret and understand complex insurance policies and agreements
- Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with all claims processes
- Learn and utilize a variety of company-specific programs and tools
- Proactively manage time and tasks to meet deadlines effectively
- Proven experience in the commercial trucking industry with insurance knowledge
- Familiarity with claims management processes and risk mitigation strategies
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team-focused environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to travel on short notice when needed
