What are the responsibilities and job description for the Progress Monitor position at Altoona Area School District?
This position is responsible for assistance with the various functions of the Title I school-wide programs at each of our elementary schools. Progress monitors assist with delivering and administering district-wide assessments; review and monitor assessment results and provide feedback to teachers, Title I Instructional Support Staff, building principals, and district administration. The focus is to provide an objective means for assessing students’ academic progress and to establish a progress monitoring schedule to closely track students’ growth. Progress Monitors assist with preparation of various components of the Title I program.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING
- High School Diploma or GED
- Post-secondary education/coursework, preferred
- Must have prior experience working with school-age children
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
