As a Nursing Services Supervisor (RN or LPN), you will oversee nursing staff and ensure residents receive optimal care. Your role will involve supervising, training, and guiding nursing staff, overseeing resident care plans, and providing direct nursing care as needed.
Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Services Supervisor (RN or LPN) :
- Supervise nursing staff to ensure high standards of care are consistently met.
- Monitor and evaluate resident care plans , ensuring they align with physicians' orders and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments.
- Lead and participate in training and continuing education programs to keep nursing staff up-to-date on best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Conduct audits and reviews of care plans, medication administration, and other nursing procedures to ensure compliance.
