Altoona Nursing & Rehabilitation is accepting applications for a Full Time Laundry Associate.
We are looking for a dependable, caring individual who is seeking a long term job working in our laundry department.
Housekeeping duties as assigned.
Responsible for washing, folding and returning laundry to designated locations. Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis as assigned by the Housekeeping Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assembles materials and supplies from the supply room and transports them to the work area.
2. Sort, wash, label, fold and put away laundry.
3. Uses commercial washers and dryers.
4. Removes soiled linen from all areas.
5. Maintains a clean laundry room.
This is a full-time position in a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
