Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate movement of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and transport them to designated areas within the facility
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Organize and maintain inventory levels
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials as needed
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed when handling materials
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Partner with operators and cell leaders to move materials to and from production cells to create continual production.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory quantities on all supplies
- Ensure all supply inventory is in the correct locations
- Help on Production lines as time permits
- Maintain quality compliance of product according to customer specifications
- Participate in efficiency improvements throughout the plant
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of forklift driving experience.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge or Plex ERP system and inventory transactions.
- Demonstrated experience in driving efficiency improvements.
- Strong Quality mindset and a drive for perfection.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee must frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk and required to reach with hands and arms and stoop/crouch, bend or twist. The employee is occasionally required to push, pull, and/or move material and work in awkward positions, such as underneath equipment, or working around machines in operations area.
Work Environment
