Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Supervisor to join our team and support our daily operations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. As an Assistant Supervisor, you will work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Must follow Altor Solutions’ standards for Safety, Housekeeping, Quality and Production in an efficient and safe manner.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor in overseeing daily operations
- Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with team members to ensure that everyone is on the same page
- Provide support to team members as needed
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed
- Assist with training new team members
Schedules
Assistant Supervisor opportunities can exist across two shifts. 1st shift hours are 7am-3pm, 2nd shift hours are 3pm-11pm.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers; talk and hear. Frequently required to reach, bend, squat, stretch, and twist. Regularly required to lift and/or carry up to 15 pounds and up to 40 pounds with help. Regularly required to stand and walk during the entire shift. Must be able to work efficiently and repetitively with hands and have physical strength, stamina, and coordination to perform duties.
Work Environment
The work environment is typical of most manufacturing environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually high with ear protection required. Will work in a dusty and sometimes wet environment as well as cold/hot/humid areas based on the seasons.
