Overview
Altorfer Inc. Power Systems division sells and services Caterpillar engine products and accessories, including engine-generator sets and controls. This position will be responsible for providing quotes and order support for customers (internal / external).
Basic Duties
- Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their sales needs.
- Accurately input orders, billing, stocking, and selling of items into the ERP system
- Use computer parts books system to look up certain parts.
- Process orders as they come in.
- Maintain customer relationships and follow up on sales leads.
- Collaborate with others to achieve optimum profit levels for all quoted jobs.
- Provides prompt and professional responses to meet customer needs effectively.
- Reviews and updates relevant information in ERP software.
- Research the technical aspects of jobs to develop comprehensive quotations.
- Upsells parts and services by reviewing history and identifying opportunities to present to customers.
- Maintains recordkeeping for sales using ERP.
- Performs additional administrative and inside sales tasks to help the team meet goals and objectives.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
This position works in an office environment with some warehouse or outside exposure. Occasionally required to walk, bend, and lift up to 25lbs. Wearing approved safety equipment is necessary when required.
