Job Description:
This position is responsible for outside and inside sales of new and used Massey Ferguson compact utility equipment.
The sales territory covers Illinois counties including Fayette, Bond, Clinton, Washington, Perry, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Wayne, Clay, and Marion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell new and used Massey Ferguson compact utility equipment to end-users
- Provide excellent customer service
- Achieve maximum sales and profitability in assigned territory
- Prepare sales presentations, reports, and quotes
- Work with the existing sales team to promote Massey Ferguson product lines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or minimum five years of machinery sales experience
- Firm understanding of the Ag equipment market
- Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to operate and demonstrate tractors, combines, and application equipment
- Strong financial negotiating skills and organizational abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
This role requires extensive travel to customer job sites. The employee may work in an office environment and be required to wear safety equipment when needed.
The physical demands include walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds, with flexibility to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
