The Commercial Strategy Manager will play a critical role in ALTOUR’s financial and commercial strategy, driving financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and global pricing to optimize profitability and competitive advantage. This role will deliver financial insights and robust pricing frameworks, partnering closely with Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Operations to enhance the company’s market positioning and support sustainable revenue growth. This role will support the global ALTOUR team. The ideal candidate brings strategic foresight, analytical rigor, and expertise in modeling and pricing within the travel or services industry.
** This position will work out of our midtown Manhattan, NY office with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule.**

Responsibilities
- Global Pricing Strategy:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive pricing strategy that enhances competitiveness and profitability for the corporate travel segment.
- Actively maintain and update pricing models based on evolving assumptions, new products and capabilities, as well as creating new models based on changing market conditions and demands.
- Work closely with Sales and Account Management to create and refine pricing structures that balance client needs with ALTOUR’s revenue objectives, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Work with international teams, both wholly owned and partners, to gather global pricing for support of RFPs, global expansions and renewals.
- Support Sales team on all RFPs in managing the commercial pricing submission – including pricing for US and UK wholly owned businesses
- Engage with Account Management team to support all pricing discussions related to expansions, renewals, re-bids and annual reviews of existing clients.
- Revenue Optimization:
- Drive initiatives that optimize revenue and margin, evaluating pricing models and strategies to ensure profitability across all product lines.
- conduct profitability analysis on client segments, contracts, and services to recommend and implement improvements in pricing and financial structure.
- Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor pricing to adjust strategies pro-actively and maintain ALTOUR’s competitive edge.
- Use market insights to influence pricing decisions, revenue forecasting, and product positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align financial and pricing strategies with operational goals and client needs.
- Partner with the Operations and Account Management teams to ensure seamless implementation of pricing policies, governance, and compliance.
- Data Analytics and Financial Modeling:
- Lead the development of pricing models, dashboards, and performance metrics to guide strategic decision-making and provide executive visibility into key financial metrics.
- Use advanced data analytics and predictive modeling to support proactive financial planning, scenario analysis, and pricing adjustments based on market dynamics.
- Executive Reporting and Presentation:
- Prepare and present financial and pricing insights, reports, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, guiding decision-making with clear, data-driven insights.
- Experience:
- 5 years in financial planning, pricing, or revenue management, with experience in the travel, hospitality, or service industries preferred.
- Demonstrated success in a leadership role, overseeing FP&A, pricing strategy, and financial analysis.
- Education:
- Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with a proven track record of developing and implementing pricing strategies and financial plans.
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, with experience in pricing and revenue management.
- Proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel, and data analytics tools such as Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence key decision-makers.
- Experience with Salesforce a plus.
