Job Summary: The Home Health Assistant Director of Nursing will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the clinical operations of our home health agency. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining high-quality patient care, and providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Assist in managing and supervising the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, including OASIS documentation and Medicaid guidelines.
- Quality Improvement: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Staff Development: Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Patient Care: Oversee patient assessments, care planning, and coordination of services to meet individual patient needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing and analyzing clinical reports and data to inform decision-making and improve care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Indiana.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a home health or supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in OASIS documentation and electronic health records (EHR).
