We are seeking caring and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. As a PCA, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship through conversation, reading, or assisting with letter writing.
- Help with meal preparation and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Offer medication reminders and monitor basic health indicators, such as temperature.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Support patient mobility, including ambulation and range of motion exercises.
- Ensure patient safety and promptly report any changes in condition to a supervisor.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all care protocols, privacy policies, and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Preferred: At least one year of relevant caregiving experience.
- Ability to read, follow care instructions, and accurately document care provided.
- Willingness to complete all required training as mandated by State and Federal laws.
