What We're Looking For :
Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a PCA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with patient laundry when necessary.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Ensure patient safety.
- Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor.
- Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required.
- Monitor and record patient temperature.
- Assist patients with ambulation.
- Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
- Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
- Offer bathing assistance.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
