We are currently looking for a Warehouse Management Systems Lead Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA.

What you will be doing:
• Understanding the complete IT system landscape of the warehouses across the various factories in Altria, including but not limited to ERP (SAP), WMS (Blue Yonder), Middleware functionality Automation / Conveyor System, manifesting and shipping. Working with internal and external systems and various Reporting, Process & KPI Monitoring Tools.
• Leading WMS implementation projects through requirements, design, development, and configuration:
• Gathering requirements, during the discovery phase.
• Understanding customer operations to recommend methodologies and solutions, to optimize client investment
• Leading system design and review and supervising junior team members’ work
• Leading and configuring each WMS instance for consistency and effective utilization of capabilities
• Supporting training, testing, and “go-live”
• Consolidating instances and eliminate middleware
• Researching and identifying functional capabilities in JDA and applicability to Altria environment
• Identifying KPI’s and reporting of warehouse performance metrics for standardization across Altria
• Staying up to date on WMS solutions in general and JDA capabilities in particular
• Communicating ideas, solutions, and plans to our variety of clients (end user to executive level)
• Being a trusted advisor by providing the best industry practices
• Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members
• Performing training for client super users and end users
• Building project artifacts and collateral for future use
• QA and reviewing system design solutions of other architects and consultants
• Diagnosing software related issues
We want you to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 6 years’ experience in comparable role
• WMS Process and configuration experience for Red Prairie/JDA - Blue Yonder
• Deep understanding of warehouse/ logistics / manifesting processes
• Excellent analytical, visualization and communication skills
• Device Management experience: RF Guns, Mobile Carts, Zebra Label Printers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Confirmed ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment; highly motivated, focused, and results oriented.
We prefer you have:
• Experience with Automation / Conveyor System Solutions
• Minimum 2018 version of BY WMS experience
• Strong expertise in MOCA Components, MTF, DDA/Pagebuilder, Reports and labels
• Solid experience in integration of BY WMS with variety of host and destination systems using BY Integrator/Connect, including SAP ERP
• Experience with Data Visualization Software and API interface integration (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Project-management experience
• Experience with Microsoft DevOps
