Job Description
The Personnel Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing various aspects of human resources functions within the organization. They are responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, compliance, and other HR-related duties to support the organization's workforce.
Recruitment and Selection :
Develop job descriptions and job specifications.
Source and recruit candidates using various methods (e.g., job boards, social media platforms, networking).
Conduct interviews and facilitate hiring processes.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding :
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation programs.
Ensure new hires complete all necessary paperwork and understand company policies.
Handle exit interviews and manage offboarding processes.
Employee Relations :
Address employee relations issues and concerns.
Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions.
Promote a positive work environment and employee morale.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
