Essential Job Functions
- Cleans and disinfects non-patient care areas, i.e. offices, lobby areas, lounges, bathrooms and locker rooms.
- Interacts with patients, visitors, and associates in a friendly and efficient manner to meet customer needs.
- Maintains a high quality of infection control. Ensures all areas of the “key touch” surfaces in all patient care rooms are kept up to standards.
- Transports, monitors and contains waste according to standard operating procedure.
- Communicates with the Lead in charge to ensure cleaning priorities are met.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
