Position : Neonatologist at Altru Hospital

Our Level IIIB NICU Neonatology team at Altru Hospital is comprised of and known for :

  • 350 Altru physicians and advanced practice providers

3 Neonatologists

  • Subspecialties available : Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatricians and OB / GYNs
  • Full-time employment 200 shifts per year
  • Schedule : 180 shifts / year
  • Call : 1 : 3

    • Call schedule : Flexible

  • Type of call : at home
  • 350-400 admissions per year
  • 60-70 air transports per year
  • 10-12 average patients / day
  • 16-bed Level IIIB NICU, can accommoadte up to 18
  • Procedures required : Lines, intubation, and infrequently, chest tubes
  • Equipment available : Ventilator, Oscillator, CPAP / Sipap
  • Voice dictation available : Dragon dictation
  • EMR : Epic

    • Requirements :

  • Board Eligible / Board Certified in Neonatology
  • Licensed MD / DO in ND and MN
