Certification Details MLS MT CLS Job Details 3 positions 13-weeks The Medical Laboratory Scientist demonstrates critical thinking skills and independent judgment. The MLS understands the underlying scientific principles and technical elements of laboratory testing and result interpretation. The MLS is capable of performing and interpreting waived, moderate, and high complexity testing, and possesses skills to perform routine phlebotomy for patients of all age groups. Job Requirements Professional Licensure (MLS, MT, CLS) | North Dakota Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice | Prior to Start Date Professional Certification (MLS, MT, CLS) | Multiple Issuers | Within 12 Months of Start Date ND License required before starting - provisional license is acceptable. Acceptable certifying agencies : ASCP, AAB, AMT and NCA (Must certify in one) Schedule Information The hours are Days, 36-hours weekly, Could be 7 on 7 off, 6 : 00AM to 6 : 30PM or 7 : 00AM to 7 : 30PM, every other weekend and holiday.
