About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Altru Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the lab for procedures, assessing patient needs, and performing hemodynamic and control room duties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Cardiac Cath Lab for procedures according to standard operating procedures
- Assess and fulfill patient needs during procedures
- Perform hemodynamic and control room duties, including maintaining equipment and troubleshooting issues
- Correlate analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests to recognize need for additional intervention and report pertinent findings to Physicians
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field, such as Radiologic Technology or Cardiac Technician
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
