Key Responsibilities
- Collect pertinent information prior to performing exams and assure that proper orders are received.
- Review images for quality and completeness, verifying that all necessary paperwork is accurate and up-to-date.
- Demonstrate regard for patient safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization, and positioning.
- Administer diagnostic or therapeutic dosages accurately and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Radiographer certification from the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners prior to start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.
