Job Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of individualized treatment plans. Our team works collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with registered nurses and other licensed practitioners to identify patient needs, priorities of care, and goals based on patient characteristics.
- Gather, observe, record, and communicate patient responses to nursing interventions to inform care plan development.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes.
- Foster open communication and collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Cultivate strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a positive work environment and exceptional patient experience.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies, ensuring compliance and maintaining confidentiality when required.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of patient conditions, treatments, and medications to provide informed care and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification from the North Dakota Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement prior to start date.
- Minnesota Board of Nursing license within 12 months of start date.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.
