Job Responsibilities
- Fundamental Job Functions:
- Assist registered nurses and other licensed practitioners in identifying patient needs, priorities of care, and goals based on patient age, ethnic origin, economic status, lifestyle, creed or philosophical beliefs.
- Gather, observe, record, and communicate patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Modify plans of care in collaboration with licensed practitioners.
- Demonstrate competency and ability to carry out department-specific functions in accordance with department standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department/organization.
