Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Altru Health, where you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As an ICU nurse, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients. Your expertise in critical care nursing will enable you to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans that promote optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
- Monitor patients' conditions and take prompt action as necessary to prevent complications or deteriorations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Licensure/Certification: A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are also preferred. Our hospital participates in the North Dakota Nursing Compact, allowing nurses to practice across state lines.
